About Us
The founders
Nancy Scholink has been in HR leadership roles for 25+ years in healthcare and other industries. She earned her MBA , holds HR certifications (SPHR and SHRM-SCP) and started HR consulting in October 2022. She co-founded Envision Initiative to support organizations with their employment needs and to bring a fresh perspective of HR. Outside of work, her life is full of adventure with her life partner (David), two adult children, two senior dogs and a once-feral cat.
Molly Lorenzi is a licensed California attorney who started her career practicing antitrust and corporate law at an international law firm. She began practicing independently this year to bring corporate compliance tools to small businesses and nonprofits, and is now applying her legal background to inform the products and strategies that Envision Initiative offers. Molly’s personal life is filled with her toddler Stella, husband Luis, and bernedoodle Matilda.
Nancy and Molly met in 2016 through a shared love of tennis, and started collaborating professionally in early 2023 to brainstorm a workshop series providing HR and legal education for small to medium-sized businesses. This collaboration went so well that Nancy and Molly decided to formalize a business partnership, and Envision Initiative LLC came to life in June 2023.
HR Assistant
Jody Barnett received her Certificate of Bookkeeping from Monterey Peninsula College and is currently attending California State University - Monterey Bay to receive her degree in Computer Science. She has experience in both bookkeeping and payroll processing for small businesses. Jody is passionate about helping organizations streamline their processes and ensuring accuracy in all facets of business. Outside of work, Jody enjoys creating miniature food earrings, hiking in Monterey, and having breakfast with family.
